Wine and Food Festival Weekend

This weekend is the big Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival here in Austin. Like the past couple of years, Chad and I will be helping his mom and step-dad, Karen and Jim Johnson, at a couple of events. Karen and Jim own Alamosa Wine Cellars, and invite us to help them pour wine at the events so that they are able to get out behind the booth, mingle with friends, and sample the awesome fare.

I'm looking forward to both events that we are helping at - the Stars Across Texas event tonight at the Hilton is always a huge, fun night, and the Sunday Fair in Georgetown on Sunday is a more relaxed, casual day. I am looking forward to tasting some good food and wine and to helping out with the winery duties. It is always a fun time!
