She's Come Undone

I finished a book last night... She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb

I highly recommend it to any woman who finds herself watching tons of mind-numbing TV or wondering why she cannot stop craving junk food. You'll find the character relatable, even if you haven't been through what she has gone through. She is hilarious and horrendous, pathetically sad, and at times completely endearing. You know how each miserable situation in her life is going to turn out before it actually happens, so you find yourself eagerly hoping that the next page will turn out to be less painful for her than what you have already read.
You know you are reading a well-written book when you are consciously thinking about what the main character should do with her life or how she should act as you are cringing at each circumstance she is put through. You want to tell her how it ends before you know what the ending actually is.

yup, the same book. I liked the part in the book where she talks her grandma into leaving her at home and she invites the hippie construction guy and his family over for dinner.
