The time has come...

...to retire this pair of running socks. I bought these socks two years ago and they have served me well. It is quite possible that this is the pair of socks that I qualified for and ran Boston in, which means they hold my fastest two marathon times. They are a fast pair of socks.

Imagine my surprise when I pulled off my shoes after a leisurely 7 miles yesterday evening to find my big toes sticking out. I didn't alter anything about my feet in this shot to take the picture, either.

Thanks, Asics, for making a great pair of socks. These will now go to sock heaven.
