Let's see, in 6 months I'll be... good grief, almost 48. I wish you the best on getting into the lottery for St. George's. I have not run that marathon, but I did run the inaugural Top of Utah Marathon up in Logan back in 1999 and really enjoyed it (I believe it is still run in September in case you are looking for an alternate marathon).
